The second day of the Association of Public Boys’ Schools of South Africa (APBSA) Football Festival at Pretoria Boys High, streamed live on the SuperSport Schools App, showcased enticing action.

Grey College began well on Wednesday and continued their successful streak on Thursday morning, starting the day with a 1-0 victory over Springs Boys’ High.
In the second match of the day, Wynberg Boys’ High scored an outstanding 6-0 win over Queen’s College. That was followed by an impressive 5-0 victory for Northwood over St Andrew’s School.
Kimberley Boys’ High mustered a close 1-0 win over Glenwood, while Jeppe High School for Boys, after back-to-back wins on Wednesday, delivered an exciting performance in a commanding 4-0 win over Dale College.
King Edward VII School (KES) picked up a narrow 1-0 victory over Potchefstroom High School for Boys in the last match of the morning.
Goals were harder to come by in the afternoon, but Wynberg continued their winning ways, downing Parktown Boys’ High 2-0.
Northwood caught the spotlight with a 4-2 victory against Grey College, while Rondebosch Boys’ High slipped past St Andrew’s School, winning 1-0. Jeppe maintained their high-scoring streak and handed Potchefstroom High School for Boys a 3-0 defeat.
Springs Boys’ High and Queen’s College failed to beat the opposing goalkeepers, finishing their clash with a goalless draw.
Kimberley Boys’ High scored a second successive 1-0 victory, beating Parktown Boys’ High, while the hosts, Pretoria Boys’ High, concluded the day’s action with a tight 1-0 win over Glenwood.
