The Sharks were crowned the unofficial champions of the Academy Week in Wellington after beating the Free State by 32-20 in the main match of the tournament.
The Leopards’ flyhalf, MJ Mostert, was outstanding as his side finished their week on a high by defeating Griqualand West by 29-0. Mostert scored a brace of tries, converted three of his sides’ four tries, and slotted a penalty for a personal contribution of 19 points in the encounter.
