SOR NuusOur rankings is starting to settle as the school rugby season nears the half-way mark. Paarl Boys’ High is the only unbeaten top side left in South Africa and as the custom thus far on our rankings they occupy the top spot. They howvever had to work hard to beat Diocesan College (Bishops) by 12-7 on Saturday.

Second place Paarl Gimnasium defeated SACS by 39-15 which saw the latter take the biggest drop in our rankings from sixth to 14th spot.

Affies slipped past Outeniqua to the fifth position after beating Waterkloof 28-15 on their home ground. The Kwaggas from George are in sixth after having a off-weekend, which had a influance in them dropping a place.

EG Jansen who defeated Kemptonpark moved past Grey College of Bloemfontein. The team from the City of Roses however didn’t lose any ground as they defeated Sentraal by 51-0 and kept their ninth position. The team’s recent form indicates that it will improve their place on our rankings as the season progresses.
