A clash of the titans is set for Tuesday at Clapham High, where Kaizer Chiefs, the Gauteng Development League (GDL) leaders, face off against the third-placed Mamelodi Sundowns.
Kaizer Chiefs recently took over at the top, replacing Rockefvs, whose tenacity early in the season has impressed.
The Pretoria club previously claimed first place from Siwelele, who have now fallen to fourth after dropping points in several matches, including a 0-3 defeat to Randburg at the Randburg Sports Complex earlier this month.

Although only one match will take place on Tuesday in honour of Youth Day, the Phefeni Glamour Boys against The Brazilians is a headline-grabbing fixture.
Kaizer Chiefs leads Rockefvs on goal difference at the top of the table. Both clubs have 29 points. Bafana Ba Style, the defending champions of the GDL, are in third, only a point off the pace, with 28. A victory over Chiefs would propel Sundowns to the top for the first time this season.
They head into the clash on a hot streak, having won five consecutive games. That run, though, has been matched by Chiefs, thus setting the table for a mouthwatering showdown.
The AmaKhosi have already enjoyed title-winning success in 2026, capturing the GDL Top 8 just before the kickoff of the GDL season.
Matches between the two South African powerhouses are at the pinnacle of competition in the country, and Tuesday’s contest is no different. Apart from it being streamed on SuperSport Schools, it will also be broadcast on DStv Channel 216.
