Hoërskool Hermanus utility back, M-Jay Matinka, scored a brace of tries in last week’s 33-31 victory over Hoërskool Strand. It was their first win in eight matches.
Matinka will serve as a super sub off the bench when Hermanus hosts Worcester Gimnasium at 14:00 on Saturday.
Eighthman Rehan Götze put in an inspired shift as captain last week, leading his side to a hard-fought win. With confidence in his stride, he’ll be keen to skipper the side again.

When they last clashed, in 2024, Worcester Gim cantered to a one-sided 54-3 win, and they’ll hope to win big at home again, but a far tighter contest is likely than two years ago.
