The 2026 FNB Grant Khomo Week, featuring South Africa’s leading u16 provincial rugby teams, will be hosted by Kearsney College, in Botha’s Hill, near Durban, this year.
The action begins on Monday, 29 June, continues on Wednesday, 1 July, and concludes on Friday, 3 July.
Each day, 10 matches will be played, divided between Stott Field and the AH Smith Field, with the earliest game kicking off at 09:30. The last match of the day will start at 15:00.

Stott Field, the home of Kearsney College’s 1st XV, the One-Stripe, will serve as the main field and will host the event’s opening match between the Griquas and Limpopo Blue Bulls at 09:30 on Monday.
From there, the action continues to ramp up, with South Western Districts (SWD) facing Free State in a key clash, and Western Province opening their account against the Griffons at midday.
The Blue Bulls will battle Eastern Province in the day’s penultimate match, with the hosts, the Sharks, tackling the Lions in a high-stakes clash to close the day.
Western Province is expected to be one of the contenders again. They were shockingly comfortably beaten 51-28 by the Sharks last year in the main game on the last day. They would, no doubt, welcome an opportunity to have another crack at the Sharks. Both, though, would need to win their opening matches to have a realistic chance of that happening again.
On the AH Smith Field, Iqhawe tackles Border Country Districts (Border CD) in the day’s first match. That’s followed by a showdown between the Leopards and the Valke, two teams whose players are familiar with one another due to schools’ matches played earlier this season. Last year, the Leopards won the bout 39-15.
In a 12:30 kickoff, Namibia will aim to capture the spotlight with a victory over Border. The day closes with Boland playing the Pumas, and the Sharks XV facing Zimbabwe.
Should Boland and Sharks XV win, those victories would serve to underline the depth of rugby in KwaZulu-Natal and the Western Cape, which produced last year’s finalists.
